Our House — Waridi House Lamu

Rooms

Spread across two floors and a rooftop terrace, our five rooms offer comfort and privacy. Each room features an ensuite bathroom, balcony, and a cosy lounge area, all overlooking the garden. There are hanging beds, outdoor sofas, and sunbeds for disposal of our guests. Two rooms are equipped with working desks and baby cribs. The interiors of the house which exude warmth and charm, are inspired by traditional Lamu architecture.
Waridi house can comfortably accommodate up to ten people and up to five children additionally, making it ideal for families or groups seeking a memorable getaway.

Garden

The venerable Mkungu (Indian almond) and Muarubaini (Neem) trees provide a welcoming shade to the garden and plunge pool during the warmest hours of the day. A colourful mix of tropical plants and flowers create intimacy while the main lounge areas, with sofas and hanging beds, provide ample space for unwinding and socialising.

Our talented in-house chef specialises in crafting delectable dishes tailored to your preferences. We highly recommend savouring the local flavours of Swahili cuisine, abundant with fresh seafood and fish. Generous breakfasts are served at your convenience and taste. Unwind in our spacious yoga shala which overlooks the garden and offers a peaceful atmosphere for personal practice or group sessions up to ten participants.
